As some of you know, I am active with manufacturers in promoting not just the Seaboard but other roads of the SE as well. I have been advised by Athearn that they are currently painting the cars for a release of CofG war emergency hoppers. P2K is doing this car in HO scale as well. However, they are not doing CofG. I contacted Athearn about this and they told me immediately that they would do the CofG cars. Well, they are just about done and shipping should be sometime in April.
Also, Accurail advised me that the SAL autoracks, bi level and tri level, are only 2 cars away. Cotton Belt and CB&Q will be done first and then the SAL cars will be done after those roads. So, hold on just a bit longer guys and we will have more new toys..<G>
