Yankee Clipper Models is coming out with a Seaboard Air Line B5 box car. These were the 1932 style car. Some of these were also converted to SAL ventilated express cars. I have a scan of a modeling project of one of these cars on my website. However, I used the Red Caboose X29 car. It it not 100% correct but is certainly looks good. http://members.aol.com/dblake7096/silver-meteor.html

More details as they become available.

Denis:
That's great news for me! Was the B5 class an outside braced wooden boxcar? Were these the cars that were later rebuilt with steel sides and fishbelly bottoms in the early 1950's. Do you have a photo of this
boxcar--besides your model of the REA express
car?

Seaboard's B5 class were single-sheathed 7-panel Pratt Truss boxcars in the 15000 to 16999 series; the 1932 ARA type car (more a cross between the 1932 ARA car and the X29) was classified B6 by the SAL.

Hmmh. I wonder if I should open that can of worms. Have been using the Walthers X-29 for mine.
