Picked up the Feb. 2003 issue of Trains, and was relieved to see it was much better than the lame-a$$ Jan. issue. There's a nice article by Steve Patterson called "Troubleshooter", telling about his time on Santa Fe's Southern Division (Texas & Louisiana) in the early 1970s. Pay attention to the preponderance of F-units and 40-foot boxcars- great pics for lovers of the covered wagons.
