I was out west last week and got the chance to take a few photos and get in some hiking, when I got free on Friday. I wanted to share a few shots from just east of Tucson, AZ in the Cienega Creek Preserve. As the Sunset Route's main heads east it splits into two lines at the Vail Crossovers. Track 1 is normally for westbounds and track 2 for eastbounds. Track 2 crosses under Track 1 at the creek, mile post 1008.49. The seperate tracks rejoin at Mescal Junction, mile post 1023.3.

Here is an overview of the track alignment at the Creek.
Some people also refer to this area as Davidson Canyon.

Excellent pics, for us modellers photographs like this are an excellent resource to use for scenery.

For those interested in weathering the autorack is a perfect of example.

Keep the pics coming they are appreciated.
