Taken in 1983, this was a rather unusual occurance, with the SP running up the ATSF side of Cajon Pass approaching Summit. I don't recall what the circumstances were, that caused this to happen.

Great shots you are really spoiling us with these fantastic slides. do you still get out and do any railfanning?

Railfanning?? What's that?? <g> Now that I am married, I don't seem to have the time. I get to go out, a few times a year...nothing like during my days as a batchelor.

Mike, I am loving these SP pictures. That one has a real hard working look! A full set of unadulterated SP units is a joy to behold. smile.gif
