Thanks Charlie, I don't want to over do it by posting too many of my old pics, but I have had these slides in storage for many, many years. I am having fun using my new slide/film scanner.

That is a great pic. It sure looks like you picked a cold day to shoot it. When was it taken?

Peirce, cold in SoCal is a relative term I suppose compared to what folks in the NE have been suffering through the past several weeks. The pic was taken in November of 1983, so it was probably a bone chilling 65 degrees that day! brrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!

Quite the opposite actually, we really enjoy posting of prototype photographs as far as I'm concerned the more the merrier.
This is exactly why we created railfan forum to encourage members to post more images.
Keep them coming, i for one enjoy seeing scenery shots and shots of more than just locomotives.

And here's where some of those Tunnel Motors ended up. Didn't even qualify for yellow patches.
To me the surrounding clutter dramatized the irrelevance these erstwhile stronghorses have come to...

I'm afraid to ask where this deadline was shot at. :(
As for the top shot, that's a good one! That track to the left, and again behind the train going off to the left- is that the balloon track trains off the SP Cajon line negotiated?

Frisco Bob, I believe the track for the Cajon Pass, is just above where you see the ballon track, that runs across Interstate 10. Glad you enjoy the pics Alan, I know you don't make it over to this side of the world too often. So I will see what I can did up for you.
