Trying to down size pics

I was trying to post some more pics to my rail images account , but they are larger that 100 what ecers. around 190 -200, how do I make smaller. thanx ahead of time for any help. Adios wyatt

Do you have any photo software that came with a scanner or is resident on Windows? I think the windows one is called Imaging or something similar. Any of that software will let you save the image as a jpg and if you select a decent amount of compression it will make the file much smaller. The best thing I have found for this is IRFAN, and it's free, and was talked about a lot here on the site. Unfortunately I don't remember the link to them. Try looking up IRFAN on a search engine. It really works good and takes a short time to download. smile.gif :cool:

open the picture then go to save as, go to advanced and lower the quality

No real noticable difference in quality, however, load times improve dramatically. Thank you LVIEW Pro. Been using it for about 8 years.
