I've tried to send an email on the "Join" Railimages page, but my browser keeps wanting to open America Online. That would be ok if I new the email address to which I should be sending the request.
Please let me know the email address to send the request to.
Thanks

nycfan, you have IMPECCABLE taste in railroads. Welcome to Trainboard. You can't send an email from Railimages. I assume you have already found railimages by clicking on the big sunface up above, and joined. All of the rules are there for viewing. Once you upload a photo, you must then, in order to post it on Trainboard or anywhere else, copy the address where it is stored in railimages. If you are posting it in Trainboard, you select the "IMG" option after you write your message, and paste the address of your photo and select OK. If you need more info, let me know.

Andy, and Dave, Railimages has nothing to do with email. You cannot email something to railimages. Would you tell me how far you have gotten into the railimage site, and if you have joined and opened an album? Email me or Paul. My address is fitzrr@pioneer.net

When you click on the "join" button, you are transported to the "policies" page.
At the bottom on that page is says, "I agree and request an account!"
That is not a link to AOL or anywhere else. That link is mailto:support@railimages.com which calls up a new message addressed to support@railimages.com

Guys,
Paul took care of me, and I'm all set up. Thanks for the comments and the support. This thread can be closed now.
It appears that when I click an icon that is supposed to send an email, my computer opens AOL. At that point, I lose the address I'm supposed to be sending the email to. Just another insidious hook that AOL has inserted into my life.
Thanks again,
Dave

Actually, your computer recognizes AOL as your default e-mail program. If you use another address besides the AOL one with a program like Outlook Express or Netscape Communicator, make sure that program is the default (usually under Tools, Options) so when you click on an e-mail link, it will come up automatically in a new message using that program.

Paul , Thanks for the help, After I read your e-mail message it took me close to 2 hrs to get a photo uploaded into an album. Its not your fault or railimages its just that me and this computer just don't get along. It thinks its some kind of high tech device and I think it's an overgrown toy. I really do appreciate all your help and patience Thanks again graemlins/notworthy.gif
