There is a slight problem when pasting links from railimages that you need to be aware of.

Once a picture has been slected the URL appears below the picture. When you copy the picture you will find a space maybe copied after the jpg therefore when you try and post the pic this will appear.

http://www.railimages.com/album/Paul/P1010005.jpg

Notice there is a space between g and [/img]

This will prevent the picture from being viewed and will only appear as a broken link. All you need to do is remove the space and the problem is solved.

I will refer this problem to Mike to see if it can be resolved

OK Paul here is a test, and it seems to work.

This time there is no space between g and [ as it was before. So, somebody obviously changed it since we last spoken about it.

Here are some updated instructions on copying the link

1. On the upper right of the window, click on "View Recent Uploads" or go to your album;

2. Shrink the window by clicking on the "-" at the top right corner;

3. Open another browser page by clicking on the icon of IE, Netscape or whatever browser you use;

4. With this new webpage, open TrainBoard.com and go to the thread you intend to download photo(s) into;

5. Now click on the shrunken title " Most Recent Uploads" or go to your album;

6. Find the photo that you wish to transfer and CLICK on it;

7. When viewing your photo on RailImages.com, if you want to post the picture on a railroad forum web site, mouseover (place mouse over) the URL under the picture. ;

8. In Internet Explorer, right click and select "Copy Shortcut." In Netscape, right click and select "Copy Link Location."

The correct link is now copied and ready to be pasted
