On one of the yahoo groups I had asked about info. on the KCS 4-bay hoppers. I had good response and found the back issue of mainline modeler (9/02) with an article on it. In the latter part of the article it said a lot of these would have to be replaced anytime now (both the 3 and 4 bay). Are any of them being replaced with 4 bay hoppers, or are they all being replaced with 3 bay ones? I have a couple dozen 4 bays I got on the cheap and want to repaint them and would like to get fairly close to prototypical. Thanks!!!!
