Can anyone tell me about Microsoft's new "Locosim" game? I heard about it on here a while ago, and never heard anything else. I've heard it will rival the realism in their line of "Flightsim" games. Thanks for the information!

I read a preview in September Model Railroader magazine it is due out early next year and if it holds to the preview it will be worth the wait

Try here: www.microsoft.com/games/trainsim/ (http://www.microsoft.com/games/trainsim/)

They say it'll be out in the Spring of 2001. Should be nice. There are already a few fan sites up and running.

The BNSF and Acela screenshots look really interesting even if I'm modeling southeastern RRs. Maybe the sim architecture will be open enough that I can get some high hood Geeps (SOU) eventually http://www.trainboard.com/wink.gif
