How do I find out what is assigned to my F-keys in any given program... how can I assign a task to my F-keys? thanks :D

Your pull down menus will have some, if not all, of them shown as shortcut keys. Some are standard applications like F1 for help, F5 for refresh, and F11 for full screen, for example.
