<font size=4 color=navy face="Arial Rounded MT Bold">Working in the IT industry, we have noticed that 85% of machines without Virus scanning software, and on the internet have at least 1 virus..

One machine had 67 different affected files, with 8 different virus!! Nothing less than a total rebuild.. and this is in most cases.. It only takes 1 virus to destroy some important WINDOWS files, and its a total reinstall of windows and all your other programs.

There are more virus running round at the moment on the internet than lawyers in the Gore/Bush camps(hasnt that turned into a joke)...

Get yourself a Virus scanner and dont forget to update the DAT files! Nortons and Mcafee have Free upgrades of Dats...

And NEVER open an attachment from someone you dont know... And be careful with ones from people you DO know. there is a lot of virus that attach themselves to mails and automatically send them selves to everyone in your address book!

I had one at work the other day from haha@happy.net or something like that.. scanned it and the atttachment was a virus.. If you get a email that you do want to get rid of for good...

1)click on the mail once to highlight it,
2) hold your SHIFT key down
3) Press your DELETE key

This will delete it permanently and wont send it to your TRASH FOLDER.

Friendly advice...
Cheap insurance..

**** VIRUS ALERT - W32/ProLin@MM ****

Dear McAfee.com Dispatch Subscriber:

W32/ProLin@MM is an Internet worm that spreads via email.
McAfee AVERT has given it a risk assessment of MEDIUM TO HIGH-RISK. The email comes with an attachment named CREATIVE.EXE, which carries the icon of a Shockwave Media
Player application. You may receive the email in this format:

Subject = A great Shockwave flash movie
Body = Check out this new flash movie that I downloaded just now ... It's Great Bye
Attachment = creative.exe

If you run CREATIVE.EXE, it finds and alters all .JPG and .ZIP files on your system and forwards a copy of itself to everyone in your email address book. Please do not run the attachment.
