I just finished face lifting my home page, I added a mouseover sidebar, that gives info in the status bar. It is my first attempt at j-script, it is all hand written code, as I have no computer, only webtv, and I need some "browser check" feedback, I saw it on my folks computer this afternoon... I was pleased... but I have no idea what browser they are on... (MSN with windows?)... and if any of you have trouble navigating, I would appreaciate the feedback... Thanks

Espee2, it worked with IE5, but not with Netscape 4.7 on Win98R2. I assume that is a problem with Netscape rather than with the scripting - it seems not to do the same as IE does in several instances.

This is a regular problem with the 2 browsers...
but with the late versions it is usually the same. It is usually the / or \ that is incorrect... just looking at the page now...
well everything works with my nutscrape 4.7 and idiot explorer 5.023984023984029384092384092834098243something... .
nice effort...

Sorry Espee, my bad.
I had the java script disable in the preferences in 'scape. nce I enabled it and reloaded the page, the mouseover worked and the status bar gave the same messages as IE% did.
It appears to be working as designed. http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif

Thanks guys... I can rest knowing that, even if the mouseover doesn't work, it still looks the same (not like a "Picasso")..LOL.. and is navigable... and most of my viewers are on newer browsers..
