First you have to upload it to web page or site. You then enclose that URL between and . If it doesn't work, try again http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif. Make sure you use the[] and not {} or ().
Good luck,

A lot of people goto http://www.geocities.com
and open a page up.. Even if they dont have HTML, they can use it to store images there.
You can use FTP software, or Netscape 4 or IE 5 to upload it to the server there.
Then it would be http://www.geocities.com/YOURNAMEYOUPICK/IMAGE.gif
start line with a <
then
img src
then "http://www.geocities.com/YOURNAMEYOUPICK/IMAGE.gif
then
"> all in one line..
EG the everything trainboard.com logo is http://www.trainboard.com/trainboard.gif
HTH..

Craig;
Either of those suggestions will work fine. You can use UBB Code or standard HTML tags. The UBB Code is about the quickest for displaying a picture. Just type:
then the URL. Don't leave any spaces between that and the URL! Then at the end without any spaces, type
If you don't have personal web space for storing your images, you can e-mail them to us and we will store them on our server and e-mail you the code.
Most people have personal web space but some don't know how to access it.
Hope that helps also http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif

I was having trouble with pics I had posted and now realize why... it wasn't in my code, rather the sites have policies against "remote loading" of images from other sites. This is happening with images I posted on 50megs.com and now on Tripod. Does anyone know of any good free sites where I can upload images to avoid this problem? I have a bunch that I'd like to post http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif

Chessie,
I was wondering what was going on with the pictures http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif. I use Geocities for all of mine. They give you 15MB free.
