I was thinking of adding "mouseover" to my home page with javascript. I am worried that some people won't be able to see my page. what is the % of people (aprox.) that can't view a site with javascript? is it worth it?

what kinda mouse over?
change images?
change words?
Give details on an image when a mouse is over an item... is so use the alt="this is a 40-2" in the code for the image...

I was thinking of using image change (link buttons) and status bar info.
I know the codes, I really was wondering if it's worth it for a personal page, or leave it to the pros. By worth it, I mean it's alot of work for me, I hand write my codes, I only have webtv...

Most people today are using Windows 95 or Windows 98 and with great free browsers there is only a few that won't be able to see java scripts etc. I have had a java script on my home page for over two years and have had no e-mails or ICQs to say people couldn't view it but then, how many would comment? http://www.trainboard.com/tongue.gif
I can't speak for Linux users so anyone out there using Linux, speak up. http://www.trainboard.com/biggrin.gif
See my greeting java script at http://members.xoom.com/index.html
