I have spoken with a number of train folks who would like to have a web site but they don't for one reason or another.

Usually one of the following reasons are given:

Entire process too confusing

Don't know where to start

Don't know how to make a web page look good

Have no web space available to store site

Have no original content to put on page
[/list]

Unfortunately, many of the people with the best potential content are the ones who are overwhelmed by the entire process. Many people think that it is just too hard, too complicated, too much to learn, and so on. Or, they would like to try, they just don't know where to start.

That's one of the great things about TrainBoard.com - you can basically create a web page whenever you want. You can post pictures, sounds, text, streaming media, whatever you want (as long as it is train related.)

We have some members who have great looking web sites and if you are a person who has never given it a try, feel free to share your ideas and someone will try to help you! We encourage more railroad content on the Internet and would enjoy seeing someone start from scratch and build a web site http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif
