Hello there,

I just wanted to let you know that I maintain a website with many transit and railroad photos from around the world, including Europe. This includes Holland, Germany, France and Italy.

I never really cared about European railroads until I traveled there for the first time last year. I wish the US would utilize passenger railroads as much as Europe and Japan....

A comprehensive site, Mark http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif

I enjoy the rides on the Paris Metro when I get the chance to visit that beautiful city. The rubber tyres give a very quiet ride, unlike most underground systems!

Your site is very interesting, Mark; I love the shot of the Italian box motor (or Brown Bomber, as I have seen them described elsewhere (although that might have been referring to the old E424 class)).

I am planning a long weekend in Italy from London by rail next Feb. or March; I will try to take some photos although I have no way of putting them on the web.

I glad you all like my "labor of love" I like the nickname for the boxmotor, it seems rather appropriate!
