A very busy place to watch and photograph trains is Koln, Germany. When I was last there trains were arriving and departing every few minutes.
Excellent photographs can be obtained from the extended platforms at the end near the river, the overall station roof looks great. Also trains arriving off the huge, girder bridge over the river, and curving into the station make for superb shots.
Anyone else been there?
