soo line candy apple red sd40-2

can anyone tell me if the soo line candy apple red sd40-2s had black walkways and a black
on the top of the short hood

Looks like your right, black on the top of the walkways and the top of the short hood.

I couldn't remember the walkways. But the photos Jeff has posted prove to me that they were black. Probably the same anti-slip stuff as on the hood.

I should know this!... well, straight candy apple is not red/white. :D

Obviously from the photos Jeff has supplied they are black non-slip treatment on the factory painted SD60's. The repaints (GP38-2's, etc) would have had the same. I have seen shots of GP9u's with black front walkways and suspect the long hood walkways to be the same.
