We have some interesting stories available today, including the story of an 8th grader killed in New Jersey because he was walking along the tracks listening to a walkman and could not hear the train.

I hear way too much about that, trespassre fatalities, (Safety Dept @ VIA Rail)
Hopefully programs like Operation Lifesaver & Direction 2006 will help make a difference in this subject.

We had an identical death in Vancouver British Columbia. The teen was walking on the tracks, the train came, people were yelling at him; he never knew what hit him.

I'm not sure who you are talking to in your request for a link. This accident happened about one or two months ago. I believe in White Rock British Columbia; this is the last community of Vancouver, then you hit the USA/CAnada border and drive into Blaine Washington.

Yes, rsn, I was asking you but I thought that it was something that happened in the last day or so.
Thanks,
Charlie
