Hi guys!

My web site in on since 6 months now and I need comments (good, bad and constructive are all welcomed!) about it.

I have put dozens of movies of my G scale layout, over 500 hundreds pictures of it's construction and a lot of articles (with pictures) about model railroading. Last week, I opened the section about rail fanning (located in the yard section).

My question is: What can i do to improve it!!

Plan for the winter: Finish to translate (and correct) every page on the site (some pages are french only for now redface.gif ), improve the section of railfanning with more infos on prototype trains.

Great site, Yvan! I thought I'd mention a couple corrections to the English. Page one: Garden is mispelled Graden on line 3. Line 4 might read better: Why is the guage of American rails set at 4' 8 1/2"? Line 5: "How many different scales exist in the world of miniature trains?" Line 8: Chronology..."in railroading" might sound better "of railroading". On the "Markers" page: disappear should be disappeared.... meanned should be meant.... meannings should be meanings... "a train, not on (instead of in) the regular schedule".... depart should be departs.... "The 614 makes (instaed of does) the same station stop..."In this mode, the loco pushes the train from the rear.... To show that it is the end of the train..."A helper" not "An helpers".... was split into several parts....railroads split them into two parts...A set of instructions to a passing loco, he new that in 20 minutes, he must give the same set of instructions to the next loco.... The last part of the train would not display any flags...The use of these flags varied from railroad to railroad....I didn't have time to proofread the whole thing, but maybe I will have time later. Great work!!! Love the pctures!!! Pete

What a comprehensive site! The construction details are excellent. I have not looked at any of the movies yet, but will when I have more time.

Very well done smile.gif

Your movies are great. You need one with Santa Clause in the snow. Your site is a first for me I haven't seen a video demo on person's web page before. Very good & you have a sense of humour.
