This photo was taken in Bay City, Michigan in 1985, and is the only picture I took of a GT locomotive, although we travelled over Grand Trunk rails on the "International" from Toronto to Flint, Mi., and saw many locomotives en route. There are two GP units stationed in decatur in the IC yard.They have the same paint job and i must say that it does look good.

Alan , we no longer have those units on the GT . The last I seen one was in Pontiac yard in 97 . Cool Pic !

Dave, there were several of them around in '85, we saw them at Port Huron, mainly. I didn't expect them to still be active. Pity http://www.trainboard.com/frown.gif

In 1997 I was working as a Engineer in Pontiac Yard and we had some around , but they were 4400's .

I remember operating a GT 4444 .
