Before work on FOXTEL today here in sydney, there was a show on called Trains Unlimited.

It was on the path that locos have taken from Steam thru to the first diesels, right thru.. I didnt catch too much of it, typical... in a hurry to get out and get to work (why I dont know)

Excellent interviews, and highly informed people. Excellent footage of the Balwins, first FT's, GG1's and first lectric locos etc

Hoping like everything else on FOX that it will be repeated 40 or 50 times today and i will try to record it..

Well worth watching. Anyone know if its on video?

Train unlimited has been played extensively on the history channel on cable in Aus for some time. I thoroughly enjoyed the series but with they would play some other railroad documentaries

The History Channel will show the transition to early Diesels at 4:00 AM 12-4-00 Central Standard time here in Dallas, Texas U.S.A. Check your time and record it if you wish. I have recorded almost all the series, then my wife bought both sets. Can't sell, or copy them, but you can keep them for your own use right off the TV.
