My friend and I are 70+, and we're boating the entire Mississippi River, by segments. Our next trip will be from Dubuque, Iowa to St. Louis, MO. We hope to find a train ride from St. Louis, where we'll park our trailers, to Dubuque, where we'll have launched our boats. We've noticed that railroads are on both sides of the river on this stretch, but none are Amtrak. Does anyone have a suggestion as to where we might look to find out if we could make this arrangement?
