Royal Hudson out for season

The Royal Hudson is out for the second season! It was out in 1998 too! The reason it is gone this time is corroded super heater elements. Due to the 2816 being at N.Van aswell, work will progress slower on the 2860. The 3716 will cover trains, except the day they have it chartered out, when they may use WCRA's F units! Now that would be a site to see! The right paint scheme!
The Hudson will also have the addition of a dome car, so that will make up for some of the joy that is lost with the Hudson out of service http://www.trainboard.com/rolleyes.gif Would it hurt them to keep her working for more than 3 years! http://www.trainboard.com/rolleyes.gif Not only that, the problem they are having could have been fixxed in '98 when it was in for major repairs.

Today was the first day w/o the grand lady of steam. I have to admit after today I have offiacilly decided that I like here more than the good 'ol Royal Hudson. She seams to have 1 too many problems on her hands http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif
