Was down in Helper, Utah on a road trip to chase the remaning DRGW Tunnel Motors up and down the hill. Pulled into the back alley at the yard to check which units would be on the daily trash train. The first thing I saw was a funny looking box car. My mind was on containers used for the trash train. Next, what is that car with windows http://www.trainboard.com/confused.gif. Hey, it's the #6 east bound for Denver. Got to get a picture of this. Flew out of town east bound to find a photo spot. Just as I found a spot, the #6 was given track warrant for 0824. I got two fast shots. Here is the better one.

Just one question Jim, was #6 on time. I sure hope so because it would be nice to have at least one train in the system on time. Reggie

Well, from what info I have, the time table says arrive in Helper (mile post 626.4) at 0731 then arrive in Green River (mile post 555.2) at 0848. Looks like he was running late http://www.trainboard.com/frown.gif. When I took the picture, it was 0824 and only one mile east of Helper.

Well, less than an hour, that's on time, for Amtrak anyway. They can make that up easy. Reggie
