Can't vouch for the "typical consist" of each train, but the Viewliners currently operate on the Lake Shore, Silver Star/Palm/Meteor, Twilight Shoreliner, and Crescent. They will soon be operating on the Twilight Ltd. and Skyline Connection too.

If you get a National Time Table, it lists services and types of equipment. At least the last one I go did.
A side note: Ever notice how many ATSF, BN and BNSF railfans also support Passenger Trains? I guess it's part of our Heritage.
