CP SD40-2 5825 must have enjoyed its California Holiday, and is getting around.
Q RICALT1 12 yesterday in Saginaw Texas, originated on the BNSF in Richmond CA, with BNSF C44-9W 4325, and CP 5825 just enjoying its sunny warm cruise.
Tex took the shot........sometimes his timing is something else smile.gif

I don't pretend to know the inner workings of BNSF but I was surprised to see the CP SD40-2 behind the BNSF motive power. CN and BNSF are still buddy/buddy even though the merger did not come off. I would have expected a CN unit matched up, rather than CP.

Thats cool to see a CP unit out west . I have seen a picture on here before of a CN unit in Texas . It was being used on a BN train .
I wish I was out in California now , I am tired of these cold dark winter days :D

Dave, careful of what you wish for! California is having rolling blackouts almost every day due to a "get serious" electrical power shortage!
The locals didn't want power plants built in "their back yards", so now they are kinda low on power - 'tis a pity
Canada is a Great Place - Come Summer! :D

Does this mean I can run a BNSF Dash 9 on my CP layout without it looking too ridiculous? :D
