This year, as opposed to last year the Christmas train was pulled by an AC400CW. An odd choice in my opion as they have been plagued with so many problems in the past. The rest of the train was 2 5 sets of Intermodal cars (TTX), one stage car (a 50' box that had a huge opening door for the preformers), a grain car, a tank car, a corn car and 2 buisness cars.
On the Vancouver end it stopped in Port Coquitlam at the WCE (West Coast Express) station, very close to the main shops at the Poco CPR yard.
Ateendance this year was better than last, but still not high. I didn't even know the train was coming until my dad told me, so again there were no adds in Vancouver regarding the CPR Holiday Train. On the bright side I got a free whistle http://www.trainboard.com/biggrin.gif
Happy Railroading!
