Any of you who have travelled this route can attest to the fact that this was a real challenge to the CPR engineers who had to find a way through this tough terrain.

This bridge crosses the Little Pic River on the boundary of the Neys Provincial Park near Marathon. This park was a prisoner of war camp during the second world war. Such rugged territory that nobody ever escaped.

Tough terrain, but beautiful http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif Good thing they did fight their way through, to allow pictures like those to be taken!
