View Full Version : UP's "Fast Forties" SD40-2

Would anyone have more information on these
units? I'm in the process of modeling one of
them... They were in the 8000 class, All I know of is that they were Sandwitched between
2 DD40AX's , Maybe some Pictures? , Thanks for all the help.

Don Strack did a artical on these in the Jan/Feb 98 Diesel Era. If you can't find a copy or wish me to make a copy for you just e-mail me off list. Many still survive today in the 3240-3274, 3305-3608 series. but you may want to get your UP SD40-2 pictures while you can.
