Thank you for the new photos. It is always great to see fresh views from other areas, especially newsworthy catches like the winged dash-9's. Keep up the good work...

How about AC4400CW's with wings?!?! Just saw two this afternoon (3-18-01 @ 15:00). UP 5745 and UP 5746 were southbound out of Atlanta GA on the CSX pulling a grain train. Both units looked brand new. Hope the pics come out.

UP 5745 and 5746 are brand new! They are the C44AC CTEs just being shipped from Erie. Has CSX kidnapped them?

Here is a pic of UP 5746 in Atlanta last weekend. My first try at posting a pic so I hope this works.

Thanks for persevering Richard, well worth the effort smile.gif Great shot! A numerical coincidence? (5746 and 5745).

Alan,
Glad you liked the pic. No coincidence on the consecutive numbers. Those engines are brand new. You could still smell the paint!

With as many AC locomotives that haul coal off the Montrose Branch, I should see 'em in GJ before long. The shots are sharp- those GEs look nice!! smile.gif

I wonder what those new ACs say under the cab where it usually says C44AC. Hopefully i can get trackside soon and catch some of them for myself...
