North Platte Nebraska

I'm looking for information on UP action in North Platte Nebraska, can anyone tell me about the area? Is this area also called the North plate division?
I am also interested in the town of Kearney?

North Platte Nebraska, mile post 286.5 at the Junction of the Council Bluffs Sub and the Sidney Sub.

The North Platte Sub runs from O'Fallons to Shawnee Jct.

Which subdivision is Kearney on North Platte or Council Bluffs?
I'm considering naming my layout Union Pacific-Council Bluff subdivision as i live in Kearns and Kearny is a very close match
