Saw 7571,7573,and 7576 as the power on an intermodal going through Davenport,Iowa over the IMRL. They came through at about 3:30 in the morning, but I had to get out just so I could see them. I wish the lightning stripe was more noticable as they are on the SD70M's. But all in all, as with any train, I'll never complain!

Hello milwfreak, a warm welcome to Trainboard http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif

From where I live, I am thankful for all the trains I see on my visits to the USA http://www.trainboard.com/biggrin.gif The winged units were not around on my last visit, but I expect to see some on my next, as they will become VERY common!

Thanks for the welcome Alan

I see wings all the time and this isn't even on a UP line!! UP runs double stacks on the IMRL usually between Clinton,IA and Kansas City. The first time you see them is memorable(4051 was mine), but after about the hundreth time, you'll be looking for power that doesn't normally run in the region.

When I heard them give back their warrent(sp), I ran out without my video camera just to see them. Now all I have to see are the SD70M's with the flares and I'll be set until it gets warmer out.

That's pretty hard core! Maybe I've been softened by the semi-tropical climate the Navy is forcing me to live in. http://www.trainboard.com/cool.gif

Enjoy the opportunity for those of us who can't.
