UP's Entire business car fleet is going to be hauled by their E8's with CSX's two OCS F40's on the head end. The train is going to originate in Chicago the 22nd and will finish up that day in Selkirk. The next day it will travel down CSX's River Line to Philadelphia for the Republican National Convention. There is going to be anywhere from 12 to 22 UP cars on this train. Get your Cameras out, because this won't happen very often. http://www.trainboard.com/cool.gif

When i saw UP 6936 switching those passenger cars there were a lot of em! UP, DRGW, and several unidentified roads... And i could almost swear i saw the rear of a covered wagon when i was leaving. I think i'll go back tomorrow to have a better look.

I'm hoping I get the exact times of the train so that I could make it to the River line. By the way, how do you post pictures with your messages? I've been wanting to post a couple, but couldn't figure it out. Where did you see the UP loco switching? do you have any idea how many cars are going to be on this train exactly?

someone called Union Pacific. their inspection train is leaving Selkirk at 11:20 pm Saturday evening! And arriving at Philadelphia 7:30 am Sunday morning. So much for photographs. They could be wrong. I'm not sure if this is exactly true, but That's the latest.
