There is a rumour circulating that the 6060 Mountain Steam Engine will be running in October sometime from Hinton to Jasper. This is to celebrate the passing of the Jasper Heritage station that CN owned to Parks Canada as the new owners. Further rumours say the 6060 has passed all safety inspections necessary to run on CN track. Stay tuned as I try to get a more accurate take on this rumour.
