The MacMillan yard is just north of Toronto where the 400 highway crosses highway 7. The best viewing point is from the highway 7 overpass which crosses the CN yard on the south. Unfortunately it is hard to see hump action from that point. The map shows the spread of this major yard.

The slugs are reworked GP9s The mothers in the 7200 series are GP9RMs.

Robin, that is great! I have heard a lot about MacMillan yard, but never seen any pictures. It looks huge, both from the track plan, and the photographs.

If I ever get back to Toronto, that is one place I will head for! Thanks for the insight smile.gif
