This will be our statement regarding the CN Moderator's position:
Dave was one of our most interesting contributors and he put a lot of work into the CN Forum. We deeply appreciate that.
During this time, some issues arose regarding procedure. Dave and I were unable to reach an agreement on these matters.
I will not lay any blame on Dave or say anything negative about him. I am not saying he was wrong about anything at all. Every person will have their own opinion on any given topic and sometimes those opinions differ so greatly that people are unable to overcome that. That does not mean that either person was wrong - as is the case here.
Due to a difference in philosophy between Dave and myself, Dave has declined to participate further and he removed all of the topics that he had posted here. We regret that he chose to remove his topics but he did so.
We appreciate Dave's friendship and wish him the best in whatever he does and we apologize to those whom this change has inconvenienced.

It doesn't matter how hard we try to keep what I call politics out of a great website like Trainboard but ---- happens whether we want it or not. Oh well, we hope to see you here regularly Dave as you are the one that made the CN forum very interesting and we want to see more of your input.
