Well, since our new member loves the SD70/75 series locos, figured I'd post a few shots. These are all along CSX trackage near Selkirk Yard, Selkirk, NY (near Albany). For a full report of the day (1/21/01) see the relevant post in the CSX forum.
Here is a series of shots of 5770 and 5774. This one is coming off a mainline jog, headed toward the former diamonds in Voorheesville, NY (CSX/D&H diamonds).

And a little closer, from a lower angle.

Now down near the yard proper, just got clearance to enter.

Gonna bring these pics to the top .
The only power that I like to operate :D
Ask the blubomber , he'll tell ya all about it :D
One time I was gonna call motive power up in Winnipeg or Edmonton and try to get a SD75I out of the yard in Port Huron which was sitting by itself and put it on the head end of the train I had that day , blubomber was cracking up :D Man , these are some cool pics smile.gif

All I see is those little boxes with red crosses in them where the pictures are supposed to be. The link must have dropped off or something. Too bad because I was looking forward to seeing the pics.

OK Harron, I can see them now. Thanks for the great pictures. I need to get out and take more photos too but weather here has been too cold and windy. I know thats no excuse, now if I only knew when trains were coming through Georgetown. Sometimes I am lucky, Other times I wait for an hour or two and nothing.

Nice pictures. Don't feel bad Robin, you're not the only one who needs to get out more. You couldn't be more right about train frequency. One day I don't know why I bother, the next day is like shooting fish in a barrel.
