I got into railway history too late and cannot find the date(s) of abandonment for the old Canadian Northern line that ran from Hawkesbury into Quebec, through St-Andre-L'Est and St-Jerome and on to Quebec City. Could anyone provide an answer(s) for me on this route? Thanks

Hi There, April 16th/2000.
Re Hawkesbury to St Jerome Line.
I used to live in Montreal, Quebec. The
Bridge across the Ottawa River came out
when a Dam was built in the 60s some time.
The link on the Quebec side lasted
till sometime in the middle 70s but am not
to sure or the late 70s, It was abondoned
B 4 the 80s. The line Connected with the
Two Mountains line just north of that point.
I still have time tables on those
Subdivisions in Storage so will have to
get more information at a later date.
I was lucky to B able to ride a Psgr
Extra on those line B 4 Abondonment. Hope
it helps for now.
