BN GP50's

I have heard that BN derated the HP in there GP50's to something like 3300 HP, is this true?

The BNSF GP50/60s have not been derated to 3300 Hp
as per what I have heard.

What happened to the BNSF GP60s in Warbonnet colors

I thought it was 3,000 hp that they were derated to...

More infor here. It was the BN GP50's that have been derated, From what I have heard they are either 3000 or 3300 HP now, The ones that were derated were re designated GP53's.
