Well, it's Father's Day weekend again, and the wife and I were talking about what I have done and where I have been for Father's Day the last several years--it seems that it always has something to do with steam engines.
One year ago today I was in Owosso, Michigan, actually operating the Pere Marquette 2-8-4 No. 1225. It was an incredible experience, something I had dreamed about for years. I would recommend it to anyone who foams like I do over steam. Never did post any photos last year, so I'll do it now.
