As we suspected, PhotoPoint will no longer be a free service. Received an email tonight with the "good" news. Two levels of pay for service now available: $19.95 and $9.95.
Goodbuy Photopoint!

I use Homestead for posting photos. Not very good for websites, but good for storing photos. Unlimited number of free 16 meg sites.

But remember that if you have pics here on trainboard, to keep them showing if you move them to another server, you would need to go to all the posts and change the URL's

Robin is correct... there is more on this topic in the Photography forum. I think this is an excellent thread that can be discussed with more valuable information, but like its sister topic, I am closing it here and moving it to the Photography forum. Please pick up the discussion there. Thanks!

Please post further discussion on PhotoPoint to the existing PhotoPoint??? (http://www.trainboard.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=15&t=000051) thread.

I will be locking this thread.

Gary.
