Magazine "photo day"?

I remember reading in one of the magazines that there is going to be one day where everybody shoots pictures and sends them into the magazine. Does anyone have the date? I think it was in October? Sounds like a fun 24 hours of shooting!

That would be CTC Board's 'A Day in America'. Superb shots taken throughout the US during the 24 hour period.

I little piece of trivia on this: Somewhere in my boxes of old magazines, I have the CTC Board that features the original photo day that was originally called "A Day in the West" back when CTC Board was western only. I believe the date was April 27, 1985. When CTC Board went national, it was changed to "A Day in North America".
