This is what "Brown" did for me today. He delivered this beauty:

The sound for this thing is absolutely incredible. As I was playing err I mean testing it, my mother in law was over visiting. She said I looked like a ten year old boy with a new toy. :D :D :D That's exactly how I felt.

And the best part is that I got a really good deal on it from Standard Hobby. If you are interested here is the web address.

Standard Hobby coupon special (http://www.standardhobby.com/couponspecial.htm)

When you call, you must mention it was a coupon special. Thay also have really good deals on BLI HO locos right now too.

It always happens ya know. You get a good pal to hang out with then he finds a woman. in this case her name is #268. She looks good though. I bet the larger O scale tender space allows for deeper sounding bass on the chuffing sound.

I went to that link and I can see where the temptation would hit pretty hard. 119.00 for a steam engine with sound is an awesome deal. I paid about 120.00 for a decoder alone, then paid another 120 for an engine. I could see buying one just to rip the guts out of it on the sound unit and install it in a different engine.

The special is still running.I just ordered one yesterday. Some items are no longer available.I went with the unlettered version which is what I wanted anyways.
Talk about a great deal!!!!

Moving the flanged wheels from the #4 to the #3 position will help this model on tighter radius's ive been told.
