Does anyone have a selection of recent Railroad Model Craftsman Magazines? Was there an article on HOn30 critter conversions in about the August, 2004 issue? If so, was it worth my acquiring a copy?

It was pretty good. Essentially putting an HO-sized cab on an N scale locomotive, knocking off the handrails and overlaying the existing walkways with HO-width walkways, and applying HO-sized lights, etc. He also shaved off/drilled out and filled original headlights and stuff.
Nothing revolutionary, concept-wise, but some good ideas.
It gave me some food for thought about doing the same to HO locos for On30 critters.

Brett-
So it was the August issue. graemlins/cool.gif Now I can see about scrounging up a copy. Too bad that nobody around here stocks it.
On30? I looked at that. Interesting. But then I looked at space available. Decided that I'd give HOn30 a quick test. Have been fascinated by the Hayden/Frary workings for decades.
