As I'm new to these forums, I will try to post some pictures of our layout, consider this as a test to see how it works out.

Yeah Friscobob it is a GP38. If any British guy (or others of course!) would be interested, the layout can be seen in operation in the Warwick club show in the NEC in Birmingham 4 & 5 November I believe.

We were in a cafe in Liege on Sunday evening, eating outside, when there was the most violent thunderstorm I have ever seen. The chairs were being washed down the street!! Everyone got soaked - but we could not help laughing, as we caught a taxi to take us back to the Holiday Inn to dry off http://www.trainboard.com/smile.gif

I look forward to meeting you at the NEC, but don't think I will make it to Enfield, as I am extremely busy building spine cars http://www.trainboard.com/biggrin.gif

Paul - fantastic photos; a layout like that is beyond wildest dreams.

Alan - I will also be in Belgium soon, travelling by train with family (in couchette) and car (on transporter) from Denderleeuw near Gent to Milan; looking forward to some interesting European railfanning.

Tunnel88 - Isn't it great? I sit here in London and ask a question and someone in Grand Junction CO (a place I would love to visit but probably never will (except by listening to cds or watching videos)) answers my question just as if he was sitting in the next room. It really is the world wide web!

A "AA" effort. "A" for the photo quality and an "A" for the model work.
