NICE. I like the NP one, never seen one like it. How many did they have?

I did make the Opera Window ones into Z Scale kits. In fact I'm shipping some more to Chuck at Feather River Trains today.

The Northern Pacific had 5 Thrall 66' Centerbeam cars, delivered in 1969. This was Thrall's first attempt at producing such a lightweight car, and for whatever reason, they exited the centerbeam market immediatly, not re-entering again until 1977 with the 60' Opera Window model.

Robert, that stuff is amazing. You guys that actually model in Z must have bionic eyes.

I'm not even going to think about buying kits - I could probably hit the thing with a spray gun and fit the trucks, but those decals .... graemlins/wah.gif

Yeah, you have to use an optivisor, and do it under a magnifyer lamp to get the decals on, but once they are on and sealed, the model looks good enough for photo's.

If I just eyeball the decals, then look at the photo's, the models look like junk. :D

Yikes!
And I thought putting the tiny 'F' decals on N locos was tough....
What will the kits run? I am intrigued by this, as I would like a few, mixed/matched.

Kit's are $15 at Feather River Trains. You need to buy the trucks seperate. Actually fun to build too! :D
