While doing some promotion for the upcomming Galesburg Railroad Days Model Train and Railroadiana show today, I received some welcome news.
One of the Midwest's favorite female model railroaders, Ingrid Drozdak of Chicago, confirmed that she will be participating in this years Show at Carl Sandburg College.
In some prvevious years, Ingrid was only able to participate on Sunday due to work conflicts. However, she has arranged to get both Saturday June 24th and Sunday June 25th for showing of her Z scale "Sierra Summit line".
Ingrid joins a lineup of fifteen layouts and other exhibits as well as over 200 tables of vendors offering a wide variety of railroad related merchandise.
The Model Train and Railroadiana Show is part of the Galesburg Railroad Days Festival which attracts visitors from around the nation to the important railroad hub of Galesburg, Illinois every June. The Train Show is a charitable event which, over the past few years has raised over $40,000 for scholarships at Carl Sandburg Community College.
If and when further Z scale participation is confirmed, I will post it here.
